Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

some idea's on layering

When layering in the winter months I start off with a thin t/shirt or thin long sleeve piece first, then add a dress and I often wear baggy pants under too or I'll add another loose fitting thin dress on top, as above. I like to mix textures , add a scarf or if you want to make it more casual add a denim jacket or leggings. You will probably have plenty already in your wardrobe that will match already. I also like to wear my converse boots or sneakers too. Experiment,  see what you like and feel comfortable in it. You can do it.
 add some denim
 .
 or casual toms.
 Boots.
scarves do wonders and just adds that finishing touch..
 add some jewelry.
add a crushed linen jacket, more textures.

some new pieces for this Sunday at Perth Makers Market, Applecross.

new pieces finished for this coming Sunday.

The jewelry pieces are made by me for me, but this is the style I like, and using repurposed or vintage findings are a added bonus...the mother of pearl heart on the last piece has had the name Jacqueline engraved on it,  my daughters name is Jacqueline and my sisters name is Jacqueline...both Jackie for short...both very special.
