Sweet Salvaged Designs.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for any inquiries.

my first try at a blog
Well today I am going to try to do my own blog, my sister Jacky has inspired me to do so, she has always been a great source of inspiration for me throughout my life. Now where do I start. mmmm OK .
I am married (have been for nearly 40 years) to a very supportive neat guy called Ian, we have 3 wonderful children, Shane our oldest, Jackie the middle one and mother to our 2 wonderful grandaughters and the little one is Karen who will be giving us our 3rd grandchild early May 2008. I was born in Gisborne, New Zealand and came to live in Perth, Australia in 1986. I love antiques and in particular shabby, chippy painted and rustic stuff. The more paint off or rust on the better, I love anything primitive, well worn and well loved .My dream would be to go to France, buy a run down chateau, live there for 6 months at a time them bring home stuff and open a small shop , the shop would have to be painted all white, (chippy of course) it also would have to be opened only 6 months at a time so the other months I could spend in France. A girls gotta have dreams I say. OK lets have another photo. oops there is up at the top. sorry it was meant to go in here. that will be lesson #2.
These photo's are taken from around our homeThe gardens are lovely at the moment as we have had quite a wet winter, and the hot weather is yet to come and ruin it all.
