Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

some new jewelry pieces from antique findings

these two have been made from copper, old stencils, vintage cross and a cemetry angel picture.
This piece was made with a vintage booklet that has its own little pencil and notebook, vintage rosaries pieces and religous medals and a couple of old rhinestones also. The booklet was brought for me from my daughter Karen, it was purchased in Strasbourg. It will have great sentamental value for me.

I love the direction you are going with these - they are so beautiful a kind of ying/yang jewelry. Feminine imagery made from metal. It reminds me of the movie "Iron Jawed Angels". Can't wait to see the next creations! XOXO - JULIE
