Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

My love for mannequins.

A close up of the fairy lights, I just love fairy lights and you don't need christmas time to have them up and on. I also have them in my work room, gets me inspired and creative.

a couple of photo's of two of my mannequins, thank goodness for ebay. Both these where sent to me from the states (USA) cost me a fair bit in postage, but are so hard to get here.

The one with the crown around her neck is a very old waisp waist one, nice and shabby as I like her, and the other has the wire cage as well, check out the fairy lights that I draped around her, this project was from a fellow blogger.

Hi Sis
Your baby sister here. Your mannequins look beautiful. Reminds me when we were in France and how your eyes lit up whenever we saw some over there and your brain ticking over as to how you could get one back home. Lights look lovely too. Am staying at Sues while we are waiting to move into flat and Peter put my figurine from France on her white cabinet and she looks so at home there but I told Sue dont get to like her too much. Ha ha. It's comforting to know she is with me with all my shifts.

Phillipa I love the fairy lights and want to attempt making them for my studio - they would be perfect. You are so brilliantly talented.
