Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

A day with my sister.

Yesterday my sister and I went to look at a couple of venues for having a vintage collectables and vintage craft fair. Had a couple of churches to view but on arriving the Paster had decided they weren't letting them out now, so are back to square one.
My sister Jacky hasn't been too well lately but is slowly getting back on her feet. She is my biggest inspiration and believes we can do anything, this is also what our Dad thought us too.
Anyhow all is not lost as we came across a antique / collectable shop and I found this great handbasin, its looks great in my garden and will also use it for display at our fair. Its dated on the back 25.7.1950.

Thank you Phil, you always make me feel better. Can just see that handbasin on your stall at our vintage fair.
