Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

My sister's birthday present.

Tomorrow is my sister's birthday and I have made her one of these necklaces, but not sure which one to give her? following my bird theme again. My sister always makes me yummy things so don't know whether to go with the turquoise beads or the murky yellow.
I am picking her up tomorrow morning and then we are going to see the movie Coco Channel, then off to have some lunch together. It will be a nice day.

Beautiful necklaces phillipa. She wears a lot of black and grey so I would say the blue. But they are both lovely.
