Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

Finished pieces.

"The Teacher" this has a 1880's American tintype on the front in a little metal frame that has a pair of swallows and a heart, this frame was given to me many years ago when I brought a quilt from the states, wish I could get more. Inside is a accordion booklet of images of school children dress in similar period clothing, has a silk ribbon closure. The links are various sizes and handmade in steel wire.

This pendant is of the legend of frozen Charlotte.

These pieces are fantastic. I especially like the frozen Charlotte one. You have such an artistic eye.

I love these! The idea of a mini altered story book as a necklace is wonderful!
