Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

Its been awhile

Its been awhile since I last posted on my blog. We have been to Melbourne for a week, our youngest daughter Karen is due to have her second baby in about 10 days. I'm really excited.
But I have been busy too, this piece I made for myself as my sister Jacky brought me the pendant piece when she was away, thanks Jacky, she has a good eye for nice things. I put the P in it for me.

This sweet pendant came from Belgium, its quite delicate and I love the image.

This piece is quite substantial, its dated 1917 and is a coin holder plus has a part for holding money ( I added a image ) and also a little mirror. It is silver plated. I have added vintage mother of pearl large beads, various charms etc.

This one has two 1880's tintype images in the double sided pendant.
