Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

"Made on the left" market tomorrow.

And this is a more dainty feminine piece, the re purposed vintage booklet has been aged more, a 1880's American tintype is added to the front and a pullout page with vintage images inside, it also has some lovely tiny vintage pink rosary beads as well.

And to some of my more substantial pieces,, the links are all hand forged with thick steel wire and a focal piece of a vintage brass padlock, complete with its own key that works.

And this piece is not for the faint hearted but fabulous on, hand forged links, hand carved skull made from bone, vintage brass padlock with its own key.

Tomorrow I am doing the "made on the left fair" in the city, its held at one40Williams, that's the corner of Williams and Murray Street, opposite the big Target shop, from 11am to 5pm.
