Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

making jewelry.

I have been inspired to make some more jewelry for my next fair in August, I did a workshop with Nina Bagley last year and also have just got a fabulous book of Susan Lenart Kazmer, this is a fantastic book with beautiful pictures and how to do techniques, it really gets you motivated to do and learn more.

I have a old top off a dressing table that has lost its mirror so made a canvas frame and put it where the mirror should have been and will display my jewelry pieces on it.
