Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

some more jewelry

Here's a couple of new photo's of some jewelry that I have been making lately, I have used copper and nickel silver, this I have etched in a solution and aged , was quite pleased as to how it turned out, I enjoy making the jewelry but it can take some time lining up holes to drill and eyelets to set, not to mention the mistakes you make along the way.

This Friday I am helping my sister and niece at a fair at Claremont, they have a lovely paper arts shop here in Perth http://www.artisticjourney.com.au/ a very inspiring shop to visit.

What beautiful pieces, Phillipa. I love the etched metals and the mixed media elements you put into them. I especially love the wings on the last 2 pendants. I can't wait to see more!
