Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

Last market at Kalamunda for this year.

This Saturday is the last market day for this year at Kalamunda, the first market for the new year is held on the 8th this time because the first Saturday falls on the 1st of January, as you know Kalamunda is the first Saturday of each month.
Two new pieces , the top one has a lovely vintage sterling silver locket as the main piece and the other below is some of my new bezel and resin pieces, I have really enjoyed doing the metal bezels, its so rewarding to learn and achieve new things.
Next Wednesday I am off to Sydney to do a workshop with the famous Keith LoBue, he's such a talented guy, his work is amazing and he's a really nice guy to boot.

I love the image in this piece.
