Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

Now I can play.

This will be a booklet necklace of my family , the front is one of my mother and us 4 girls and the inside is a image of our Dad taken when he was away at war. Dig the togs ( or bathers ) us girls are wearing, they look like they are made of wool, yuk. That's me on the bottom right, I can't say that I was a cute kid, but we had a great childhood, pretty ferral , barefoot in the summer and gumboots in the winter. Sweet memories.
I will post more images when it is finished.
This Wednesday I am off to Sydney to do a chain making workshop with Keith Lobue, and of course some shopping. I have to put resin in the bezels yet, thats the next process.
