Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

I'm back from beautiful India.

The beautiful people of India.

these girls worked on the roads, sweeping up and carting off rubbish, they really work very hard.

Our fabulous group of women, we were all strangers when we met in Mumbai, and were the greatest of friends in no time at all. Four of us were from Australia and the others from the States or Canada. It truely was a remarkable journey, lots of fabulous memories and heaps of silly moments as only women together can create, it was my first time travelling in a small group, 8 in total including our tour guide, thats Debbie ( Tour guide ) at the end on the right.
I would really recommend travelling this way , to any one thats on their own for what ever reason ( most of us our husbands couldn't get time of work ) just book and do it. I am looking at Morrocco and Turkey for my next adventure.

This is where we stayed in Jaipur, and below is where my room was.
