Sweet Salvaged Designs.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I make many OOAK jewellery pieces using vintage and mixed metals like copper, nickle, brass and steel. I like using rosary beads, MOP pieces, old brooches, medals, lockets and various found objects for whatever I think works best for the particular piece I am working on at the time. You can see me at the Kalamunda markets, held once a month on the first Saturday of each month and various other venues that I will post about. You may email me at quilt@touch88.com.au for any inquiries.

Some more images from India.

The sunsets, beautiful.

Gorgeous sari's, such fabulous colors and beautiful women and they just wear them all the time, even when working manually, we saw lots of women working on the roadsides, hard manual work but beautifully dressed in their sari's.

And the cow's, bless them, they had a mind of their own and couldn't be hurried for anything.

The donkeys also were used to carry stones etc for the roadworks.

Women dancing at a cultural night.

Our cooking lesson, this was geat fun, our teacher is above. He was so funny.

We got to eat what we learnt to cook. Move over Donna Hays.

And wash day on the man made lake.
